Novelist E.M. Forster wrote ‘Only connect!… only connect the prose and the passion… Live in fragments no longer.”
Nature thrives on connections, networks healthy ecosystems, symbiotic relationships – and so do we. We are as much a part of the natural world as a bracket fungus, a dandelion or a red kite. I’m passionate about finding simple, meaningful ways to engage with nature in our busy lives and communicating them through prose. My newsletters will explore how to reconnect the fragments of human experience and the natural world, through noticing, understanding and caring for the landscapes, ecosystems and living beings (human & non-human) that surround us.
Sign up to my newsletter and you’ll receive exclusive articles on how to connect with nature, plus wild writing interviews, insights into my writing process, updates on the Peat Free Nurseries List, book reviews, nature quizzes and much more! I’ll only be sending a newsletter every two or three months, so your inbox won’t be overwhelmed with emails.
Your first newsletter will be packed with seasonal content and inspirational ideas including cryptic birds, waxy words, Whitelip Snails, pruinose dragons, huggable trees and winter flowers. I’ll also send occasional emails with information about my events, books and other exciting news!
